Nectar approach:
ePartner Consulting Ltd (ePC) is a Surrey based consultancy specialising in the design, supply, installation and support of automated document processing systems and form data capture solutions.  The company has over 15 years’ experience in providing data capture systems to a wide range of organisations.

Drawing on experience in working with temping agencies and HR departments, ePC developed a timesheet processing system that streamlines and automates the capture and management of timesheet information.  This resulted in a whose purpose was to communicate the features and benefits of the system to the target markets.

ePC asked Nectar to review the site from an external perspective, the results of which highlighted that the site had a technical bias which did not communicate at the right level with the target audience.

Acknowledging the need to create a site that was more oriented around the user, ePC commissioned Nectar to revise the site in order for it to be more effective in communicating the features and benefits to the target audience.

To keep costs to a minimum, Nectar focused on the key elements of the existing site that needed to be changed.  As such, the existing design theme was retained, allowing budgets to be focused on addressing the site content and structure.

Nectar worked with a freelance copywriter and web designer to deliver a clean and simple site structure, with text and graphical content which has transformed the once technical site into an effective and targeted marketing communications tool.

Feedback:
Nectar has provided us with an insight into how our target audience will use and benefit from our new site.  Instilling the simple principle of putting ourselves in the role of the intended user, Nectar has helped us in gaining an appreciation of what they are looking for from a solution provider.  The revised site is now far more effective in delivering our key messages and communicating at the right level.
